Coursera IPO

EVENT DESIGN, DIGITAL

Coursera kicked off 2021 with an exciting rebrand, and then went public on March 31, 2021. After playing such a big role to help launch the new brand, I was thrilled to step in to support the design efforts as the company prepared for its IPO.

One of the biggest challenges was juggling this project under extremely tight deadlines on top of another conference event I was designing for. Because this was such a high-profile event, I had to ensure a high design bar and pay close attention to all the details. For the event itself, I created a wide range of deliverables, including table and wall graphics, printed banners, digital banners and billboards (2 of which were located in times square), an investor website, email marketing, and employee swag. It was vital to work closely with different vendors and the NYSE team to ensure everything was delivered on time and according to specifications.

Coursera puts learners first, so the strategy was to highlight real Coursera learners and put them front and center. The Coursera wordmark, symbol, and tagline were also featured prominently with the new Coursera blue to create bold and inspiring designs.
